Prayer Ministry

To fulfill God's purpose for the church to love God, prayer must be a priority. The FBC staff continuously looks for opportunities to bless people in prayer. We encourage you to contact our office at any time to receive prayer. We also have regularly scheduled gatherings of prayer.

MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING

On the second Sunday of every month, we gather to pray at 6:00 p.m. This gathering is specifically designed to change every month depending on events within our community, local concerns, and leadings from God. We spend this time trying to understand the heart of the Father and what our church needs to do to fit within his plan.

WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING

Every Tuesday at 8:00 a.m., a group of "intercessors" meets at FBC to consider all of the prayer requests that are phoned in, e-mailed, or personally dropped by the church. We know that all good things begin with God and so this group meets weekly to ask Him to bless our church, to meet the needs of each person who calls in, and to meet spiritually with our Creator.

SUNDAY MORNING INTERCESSORS

During the Sunday Morning Service a small group of "prayer warriors" meet to seek the Lord's blessing for the congregation and the individual prayer requests that are collected during the service.
