The main task of the church, according to the Great Commission, should be to create disciples (devoted followers) of Jesus Christ. This approach to outreach can literally begin in our backyard or on the street. First Baptist Church has numerous local mission activities. These hands-on projects allow people to reach out to others in Christian love and minister to various needs in the community. In addition, FBC supports a large number of ministries that are located in North America and reach out across the world.
