Street Party

While FBC reaches out through its Missions Program throughout the world, several years ago we began to wonder how our church is perceived in its own community. We sensed God's calling to invent something that would show dramatically that we care for our community and feel blessed to be here. The Street Party, a free, totally inclusive celebration, was invented as a result.

This annual event is designed to be fun for the whole family. Included in the party on the corner of Exchange and Meridian are huge inflatable games, a dunk tank, volleyball, face-painting, clowns, a pig roast, cotton candy, popcorn, refreshments, and a lot more. There is no charge for anything as it is our way of showing grateful thanks to our community for the blessing it is to be here.

This event requires volunteers in the following areas:

• Set-up and clean-up
• Games
• Security
• Mechanical Support
